Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of customer service sales experience preferably within a specialty retail environment.
• Ability to understand, recall and follow complex compliance regulations and the ability to work with highly confidential information.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule and hours necessary to open and/or close the store including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Communicates with customers to ensure that they are satisfied and that their needs are being met.

Responsibilities

• Support the store leadership team in achieving all customer service, sales, ATF requirements, and safety standards.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and leadership in the store.
• Responsible for opening and closing of the store, range safety and cleanliness standards, and personal sales goals.
• Learn the policies and procedures necessary for opening, closing and the daily operation of the store in the absence of Store Leadership.
• Provide outstanding customer service that is dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and fostering lasting relationships.
• Greet customers and facilitate the customer experience.
• Facilitate cross-selling of complimentary products.
• Inform customers of Range USA services, discounts, special offers, sales, and promotions.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and all personal and store metric goals.
• Answer customer questions regarding product pricing, features, and availability.
• Assist with maintaining the store’s visual objectives and housekeeping standards.
• Produce the daily required documents including the 4473 forms, daily gun counts serial audits, position schedule, range, classroom, and course needs.
• Manage store software to create merchandise labels and to stay up to date on daily store sales.
• Conduct store opening and closing procedures including cleanliness, register setup, reconciliation, and store security.
• Ensure all proper firearm safety rules are followed.
• Ensure that range maintenance takes place to ensure lanes are working and any issues are addressed.
• Maintain compliance with all involved government agencies including 4473 and background check processes during the firearm sales process.
• Remain up to date on new products that our customers have interest in.
