About The Position

This is a full-time position and an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in joining the studio team in its early days and helping build the studio from the ground up. The role of the Senior Sales Associate is membership acquisition largely through grassroots marketing. Grassroots marketing involves lead and booking acquisition through community tabling events. They will work with our local business partners to set up a table with marketing and promotional materials in our neighborhood with the intent of obtaining leads for our ‘first class FREE’ booking pipeline. They will also assist the general manager in establishing new business partnerships for grassroots marketing as needed. Certain in studio booking and sales responsibility to be provided. This position has unmatched ability to grow in responsibility and compensation.

Requirements

  • Experience in boutique fitness sales
  • Experience with grassroots marketing preferred
  • Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
  • Ability to spark a conversation in public settings
  • Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships and retail
  • Passion for fitness
  • Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system
  • Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday
  • Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Must have proficient computer skills
  • Full time position with evening and weekend availability needed

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and conversion
  • Perform grassroots marketing through regular community tablings.
  • Book leads during tablings to try out ‘First Session FREE’.
  • Make calls to leads and follow up through to membership conversion.
  • Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production
  • Creating new B2B partnerships for community tablings
  • Creating Corporate Partnerships to achieve corporate membership sales packages.
  • Emphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider
  • Present available services to current or prospective members.
  • Assume responsibility for developing sales skills
  • Perform front desk check in activities from time to time
  • Other duties as assigned
