The Senior Sales Application Engineer will provide technical expertise on company products to sales representatives, guiding them in the selection and application of business unit products to meet specific field requirements. Implement strategies to position the product effectively in the marketplace. Collaborate with customers while effectively demonstrating the value of the company's product lines. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Skilled in communicating technical information
  • Ability to maintain composure when dealing with customers and peers
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, accurate support to sales representatives inquiries regarding special applications, systems, or pricing.
  • Communicate with customers to evaluate and understand their needs. Assess processes to meet those needs.
  • Process requests for modifications or options and other general information not covered by published pricing.
  • Stay informed about new products and competitive models in the market.
  • Analyze and propose modifications to current products and services to meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare technical literature for internal and field application.
  • Conduct product training to sales representatives and customers.
  • Evaluate and propose improvements to product training processes.
  • Provide leadership and direction within the marketing applications organization.
