About The Position

The Senior Sales & Operations Specialist at Cox Communications is a pivotal role focused on enhancing retail operations through effective inventory management, merchandising, and operational success. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage store operations, support sales initiatives, and provide exceptional customer service while also serving as a product knowledge expert and a resource for other store employees.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • Any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience; or 5 years' experience in a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with store operational duties.
  • Experience selling Wireless/Mobile products highly preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Leadership experience is ideal.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a service-oriented, fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to be mobile within the store to assist with troubleshooting and device activation.
  • Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to help manage stock room inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory cycle counts, stock replenishment, and store audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Merchandise the store according to planogram and corporate guidelines.
  • Manage inventory, including store-to-store transfers, returns, and receiving.
  • Assist with special event execution, including marketing support and inventory planning.
  • Assess escalated wireless issues and provide solutions for technical problems and questions.
  • Support post-purchase onboarding, device activation, and content transfers for wireless sales.
  • Reach out to customers for in-store pick-up of online orders and manage return and exchange issues.
  • Work directly with Supply Chain Management for order fulfillment and variance requests.
  • Stay current with new products and technologies by attending necessary trainings.
  • Guide accessory performance and sales to meet store targets.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to Solutions Specialists and ensure timely feedback.
  • Open and close the store as needed, serving as Manager on Duty.
