About The Position

Huntsman is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales and Marketing Manager Americas to support the Advanced Materials Division located in The Woodlands, Texas. This position, reporting to the Senior Commercial Director, will lead our sales and marketing teams across the Americas. The role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on delivery and performance of our regional business plan through seamless integration of strategies and initiatives across multiple teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing with a minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Self-starter with ability to effectively prioritize competing deliverables and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, detail oriented, analytical and organized with excellent follow-up and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and business mindset approach.
  • Strong influencing and motivational skills with the ability to manage diverse groups.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Facilitation skills to help solve problems, devise solutions, build teamwork.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various business disciplines.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plan and comfortable navigating in changing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA / MSc beneficial.
  • Experience in the chemical industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Sales Managers and Marketing Managers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives and drive growth in the Americas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Oversee the delivery and performance of the market business plans, through disciplined execution, and alignment with company goals and market demands.
  • Collaborate with the New Business Development and Technical Service Teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Drive adoption and optimization of CRM and analytics tools to enhance data-driven decision-making, agility, and growth across the Americas.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales and marketing performance to the Regional Commercial Director and Leadership teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and commercial excellence within the sales and marketing teams.
  • Mentor and develop team members (direct and indirect reports) to build a high-performing and learning organization.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align goals with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with our safety and regulation standards.
