About The Position

As Senior Sales Analyst, reporting to a Sales Director, you will maintain data and reporting to support our Walmart Snacks sales team. This requires an understanding of forecast and trade management responsibilities, proactive customer communication, and ability to execute brand plans at Walmart. You will gather data through multiple sources to create reports to support sales reviews, customer business reviews, trends, pricing, and item distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3+ years' experience in a CPG broker or sales support role
  • Experience coordinating and manipulating data to support business analysis
  • Understanding of the customer with an ability to identify potential business risks and opportunities
  • Advanced technical abilities, including Excel (pivot tables, v lookups, slicers)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Walmart's Scintilla to understand customer, transaction, and competitive trends preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead analytical efforts for the Snacks team
  • Be a field expert with our corporate team
  • Assist Director and corporate team/departments with higher level data gathering or problem-solving at a category level
  • Help with investigations and documentation of post-audits
  • Use syndicated data (i.e. Circana) and appropriate tools to identify trends in market share and distribution to grow the business
  • Monitor Customer Service Center accuracy with trade events
  • Research deductions
  • Report on and analyze planned versus volume variances by using trade event analysis reporting; conduct post event analysis
  • Assist the team in developing incremental promotional programs to improve volume and profit
  • Coordinate meetings with Customer Business Managers on forecasting, systems training, and post promotion analysis reviews
  • Acquire ad circulars (AdView)
  • Help provide current sales trend information and insights to support development of the team's customer plan
  • Be the central point of contact for the Customer Supply Chain Center as it relates to both order/pricing and deductions
