The position plays a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic and tactical marketing programs to meet and exceed business volume requirements. The individual will document and execute a territory management program, which includes regular engagement with existing key accounts. Maintaining knowledge of customer satisfaction survey results and fostering solid customer relationships are also key responsibilities. The role requires active participation in trade, logistics, and transportation associations to enhance the company's visibility in the territory. The individual will assist others, take a leadership role in regional and national customer councils, and resolve issues with minimal negative impact while enhancing customer satisfaction. Timely and accurate forecasting of expenses, revenue, and new accounts is required, along with ensuring that reports are submitted punctually and accurately. The position also involves acting as a liaison between customers and other functional areas, contributing to the positive morale of associates, and providing guidance to less experienced representatives to boost their productivity. Training current sales and marketing teams and developing training materials are additional responsibilities.
