About The Position
The Electrical Authority Having Jurisdiction (EAHJ) at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) is responsible for ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and practices. This role involves applying the operational responsibilities outlined in the National Electrical Code (NEC), conducting inspections, and maintaining documentation related to electrical safety. The EAHJ will communicate findings to management, review electrical designs, and participate in audits and facility readiness reviews. Additionally, the EAHJ will delegate responsibilities to qualified individuals and assist in evaluating electrical interfaces among management systems.
