As a Senior Robotics Process Engineer, you will work with some of the most talented engineers in the automation industry. This role will enable you to perfect your experience while integrating some of the most state of the art robotics & technology available. How You’ll Make an Impact: Teach TCPs, Frames, Loads, and DCS (Safety Configuration) Configure robot I/O, including communications Set up and configure various types of dispense process equipment within paint shop and general assembly applications Set up and configure various types of vision equipment, including robot-mounted and floor-mounted systems Develop Offline Programs (OLPs) Create simulations using one or more platforms for internal and external process validations Apply cycle time improvement initiatives to optimize robot applications Confirm robot models Lead robotics projects Mentor others in the department Note: This list of responsibilities is intended as a guideline and may include additional duties. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s or Associate degree in an engineering field 7–10 years of experience programming and launching robotic systems 5+ years of experience commissioning systems from scratch to customer standards Previous experience in the automotive industry (preferred) Skills You’ll Have Experience with one or more robot applications: Material Handling, Dispense (Urethane, Sealer, Adhesive, Paint), Welding (Spot, Arc, Laser) Familiarity with robot peripheral devices, Tool Center Points, offline programming software, External Axis, and User Frame Proficiency with: Fanuc RoboGuide Fanuc Vision (2D, 3D, 3DV) Robotic and third-party vision systems Other Details: Must be able to travel 35% - 50% to customer sites and other JR locations Disclaimer: JR Automation requires candidates to successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in an engineering field
  • 7–10 years of experience programming and launching robotic systems
  • 5+ years of experience commissioning systems from scratch to customer standards

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the automotive industry (preferred)
