About The Position

BCC Engineering, a Parsons company is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Roadway Project Manager to join our team! In this role, you will lead a team to complete transportation projects, ensuring the fulfillment of executed client contracts and the financial performance of the project. You will establish and monitor project scope and fee, ensuring work is performed according to the agreed-upon contract, diligently obtaining modifications as required. You will use appropriate project management tools to track project tasks and timelines, ensuring timely completion of project stages in accordance with the project schedule. Additionally, you will manage and review design task assignments for a team, including preparation of design calculations, plans, and submittals. Communication with team members, internal design groups, and external entities including clients, subconsultants, and relevant government agencies will be key to your success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of related work experience.
• Previous project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to complete transportation projects.
• Responsible for fulfillment of executed client contracts and financial performance of project.
• Establish and monitor project scope and fee.
• Use project management tools to track project tasks and timelines.
• Manage and review design task assignments for a team.
• Communicate high-level concepts effectively with team members and external entities.
• Coordinate with other disciplines throughout the project duration.
• Attend to client needs and resolve conflicts.
• Provide or obtain constructability reviews and perform independent peer reviews.
• Build client relationships and identify business opportunities.
• Participate in project meetings with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors.
• Negotiate and execute contracts with clients and subconsultants.
• Work with Project Accountants to set up projects and review financial reports.
• Utilize Client Relationship Manager (CRM) to report and track business opportunities.
• Responsible for proposal management on lead pursuits.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and provide timely resume updates.
• Teach, coach, and mentor team members.
• Identify skills and knowledge gaps and provide training opportunities.
• Participate in personnel forecasting, recruiting, and interviewing activities.
• Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports.
