About The Position

The Senior Risk Integration Officer (SRIO) is a key leadership role responsible for supporting the Head of Risk Shared Services & Integration (HRSSI) in harmonizing risk management practices across business units and advancing the Risk Management Organization's (RMO) strategic initiatives. The SRIO collaborates with business and risk leaders to integrate risk management activities, driving process optimization across the RMO, enabling the development of integrated risk insights, and defining transformation initiatives to ensure consistency and alignment in risk management across the enterprise. This role will Lead the enterprise Risk Modernization agenda for the Risk Management Organization (RMO), serving as the accountable executive for defining vision, scope, and outcomes across risk capabilities, data, technology, process, and governance. Establish and maintain a durable governance structure to drive prioritization, sequencing, decisioning, and accountability for modernization initiatives across the RMO and the firm, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives and the evolving external environment. Will partner with our AI Risk Oversight team to identify and ways to enable the use of AI for risk transformation and modernization; making sure AI capabilities are governed appropriately.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12+ years of risk management or relevant line of business experience in financial services or related field.
  • Proven track record of leading transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead in complex, matrix organizational structures.
  • Advanced communication and influencing skills.
  • Sophisticated change management expertise including understanding adult learning strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of enterprise-wide risk integration program activities to enhance consistency and alignment across the business and RMO, including establishing operating standards and refining existing processes for risk assessment, identification, and monitoring. Lead the integration of risk data and technology solutions to improve risk identification and risk management.
  • Design and implement comprehensive change management strategies to facilitate adoption of new risk processes and frameworks. Develop standardized training expectations, communication plans, and clear expectations for risk management practices.
  • Oversee the development of comprehensive risk reporting mechanisms and dashboards, ensuring accurate and timely risk information is provided to senior leadership that enables a “single RMO view” of risk across risk types.
  • Support the HRSSI in evolving the risk frameworks, programs, and processes. Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Conduct regular reviews of risk governance structures and overall risk management effectiveness.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to integrate risk considerations into business processes. Facilitate risk workshops and training sessions to enhance risk awareness and capabilities across the organization.
  • Supervise and mentor risk professionals across multiple risk domains, facilitate collaboration between risk teams, and coordinate cross-functional risk projects to deliver optimal outcomes. Lead regular working sessions with stakeholders to address emerging risks.
