As a Senior Associate Quality Assurance Specialist at Capital One, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for partnering with Lines of Business across the Capital One footprint to ensure compliance with the Travel Rule. The qualified candidate will be responsible for sampling wire transactions across multiple initiation channels and reviewing for completeness in alignment with Travel Rule requirements. They will work with each business to explore any variance identified and will share outcomes of transaction sampling by providing effective/measurable feedback to each business. Additionally, they will perform daily reviews of wire consistency reports to ensure if mismatches impact the Travel Rule.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in Risk Management or Quality Assurance
  • At least 2 years of Risk, Audit, or Compliance experience
  • Secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions
  • Reliable private internet connection that is not supplied via cellular data or hotspot is required
  • A private network that is password protected where you have ownership or line of site sight to every device on the network
  • Internet service must be provided by Cable or Fiber Internet Service Providers (ISP)
  • Hotspots and satellite services are prohibited and do not meet performance criteria required for optimal agent/customer interactions
  • ISP download speeds on VPN must be at least 5Mbps, with 10+ Mbps preferred
  • To validate ISP speeds from a Chrome browser, go to www.google.com, type Speed Test and run from the Google landing page
  • Both Hardwire and WiFi internet connections are acceptable as long as speed and security requirements are met
  • Capital One reserves the right to request proof of internet provider, speed and service package from the associate.
  • Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.
  • Capital One reserves the right to modify internet service requirements with sixty (60) days notice.
  • Internet Service Provider specs can change by provider and location within the US.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Perform sample based reviews and other quality assurance testing measurements that provide information critical to assessing process execution.
  • Perform daily reviews on a high volume of mismatches flagged on Wire Consistency Reports.
  • Stewardship over process review and research activities.
  • Own resolution on questions and requests from management and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates proficient level skills in Excel/Google Sheets; specifically at manipulating large data sets and synthesizing into Slides/Powerpoint presentations
  • Support and own the resolution of process improvements and/or operating procedures.
  • Ensure remediation efforts against QA discovery and output
  • Drive appropriate procedure / policy change as applicable
  • Present and distribute regular updates and reports to Sr. Leadership as needed
  • Additional projects as assigned
