Under general direction of the California High-Speed Rail Authority's (Authority) Supervising Right of Way (ROW) Agent, the Senior ROW Agent provides statewide project coordination, technical assistance, and guidance for all matters concerning one or more functional areas with an emphasis on Real Property Services Support. The Senior ROW Agent ensures compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, maintains oversight to verify that requirements are met, and makes recommendations and timely decisions to facilitate efficient property management activities related to project and post-project delivery. The overarching principle for Real Property and Third Party (RP&TP) Branch is to obtain and manage property rights in a compliant, fiscally sound, and publicly acceptable manner through purchase, lease, sale, or other legal instruments, including condemnation when necessary to support the California High-Speed Rail Authority's (Authority) objectives for the development and operation of the project.
