Who we are looking for: First Eagle is seeking a Senior RIA Consultant to cover the West Coast region. This hire will be responsible for selling First Eagle’s investment capabilities, with a focus on the alternatives platform, to RIA advisors and key decision makers. The firm’s alternative strategies include interval funds, closed-end funds, BDCs and other investments. What you will do: Develop and implement a systematic sales strategy and business plan Cultivate and maintain deep relationships with prospective RIA clients Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities Generate new assets and revenues Coordinate objectives and agendas for meetings involving First Eagle investment professionals Collaborate with other advisor consultant colleagues to advance new business opportunities Expertly represent First Eagle’s investment strategies in prospect meetings Actively seek out networking opportunities and represent First Eagle at industry events Work closely with First Eagle’s marketing team to develop effective marketing collateral and messaging for RIAs and their clients Utilize the CRM system to record activity, manage prospects and clients, and preserve progress Maintain a high level of expertise related to the capital markets, the investment management industry, and marketplace developments Deliver sales literature, collateral, sales ideas to facilitate the sales process and enhance advisor relationships The qualities you should have: Undergraduate Degree in business, finance, or related field required; MBA or CFA preferred Series 7 and 63 required 8+ years of asset management sales experience, plus experience selling credit and alternative products Must reside within the dedicated region and willing to travel extensively Exceptional knowledge of markets and business acumen to influence decision-makers Polished executive presence, effective listening, client preparedness, and presentation skills Professional characteristics reflecting curiosity, empathy, and enthusiasm coupled with a solution-based drive to meeting highly accountable results Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, a true team player Base Salary range: $125,000 to $200,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus and sales commissions.
