About The Position

Identifying, defining, and solving complex technical problems related to RF systems requirements, design, development, integration, testing and/or fielding which require a high level of ingenuity and innovativeness, encouraging optimum design within project schedule and funding limitations Interacting frequently as the organizational representative with the customer in the collection and translation of customer requirements to defined specifications, making frequent contact with customers, team partners, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain/exchange information, provide technical direction, and assist in the resolution of technical issues Developing and delivering complex technical presentations related to RF systems to highlevel program management and customers, leading major program and/or design reviews and major proposal activities Performing extensive research and complex analysis on a major project to enhance the technical and economic development of the product and/or service, completed reports or studies may be deliverable engineering products to the customer Providing theoretical expertise in one or more of the following areas: Radio wave propagation Digital signal processing RF and/or digital hardware design and integration Threat RF systems exploitation Communications theory Waveform development and modeling Electronic Warfare systems Providing functional and technical guidance to engineers, providing leadership and technical direction for a project team #LI-LH1 FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
  • Eight years of professional experience in RF Engineering, to include developing RF Sensor requirements and analyzing existing RF
  • Ability to design and test printed circuit boards for RF/microwave frequencies, analyze RF Sensor systems designs, develop comprehensive system test criteria, present status and technical alternatives for new or existing RF systems, and specific RF experience in tuner/receiver development and RF Sensor subsystem
  • Technical experience in the areas of signal processing, signal exploitation, direction finding, surveillance systems, geolocation, embedded systems, electromagnetics, antennas, communications systems, or RF analysis and
  • Experience in two of the four below areas: Ability to perform single- and multiple stub matching techniques analytically through use of a Smith
  • Experience with RF subsystem modeling and simulation using either finite element, finite difference/time domain, or method of moments techniques, as well as a demonstrated understanding of the relative strengths and weaknesses of these modeling
  • Demonstrated understanding of active device stability, including Rollet K analyses and load pull testing/analysis
  • Experience with mode-stirred chamber and antenna design plus near/far field antenna
  • Experience with five (5) of the following ten (10) systems: Boeing Tactical Open Mission Ssytem (TOM)s network, MERLIN, High Probability of Interception-Air (HPOI-A), Multi-Platform Tactical Operations Display (User Interface for the CLASSIC REACH Aggregate Remote Capability(ARC)) (MPTOD) and Banshee Family of Systems, Finder Family of Systems, Classic Reach and Aggregate Remote Capability (ARC), Digital Receiver Technology (DRT) Family of Systems, Joint Signals Processor (JSP) System, Escort System, Minotaur, and Multiplatform Geolocation (MPG) with Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JICD) 2
  • SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY
