About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Revenue Recovery Analyst I. In this role, you'll maximize insurance reimbursement by identifying discrepancies between posted payments and expected amounts. You'll engage directly with payors, resolve underpayments, and provide insightful data analysis to improve the revenue cycle. By collaborating with various departments, you will ensure timely and accurate recovery processes. Your contributions will be critical in enhancing financial outcomes and supporting the healthcare community.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospital or physician insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of the revenue cycle and underpaid accounts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to multiple client host systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Integrity, honesty, and exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate directly with payors to follow up on outstanding underpayments and resolve account variances.
  • Identify root causes of underpayments and collaborate with client teams to address issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable insurance regulations and payor specific requirements.
  • Document activities accurately in client systems and track all relevant information.
  • Analyze and interpret reimbursement data to report trends and issues to leadership.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards set by Revenue Recovery leadership.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Managed Care, Billing, and Payor Strategy.
