Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in revenue accounting with emphasis on data analytics to support bookings and billings data and ARR.
  • Experience building relationships and leading cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders in different time zones.
  • Solid background in ASC 606: Revenue from Contracts with Customers in a SAAS or technology company is highly preferred.
  • Experience using NetSuite and revenue engines such as NetSuite ARM or RevPro is highly preferred.
  • Experience in building reports in Tableau and writing basic SQL queries, a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the daily reconciliation of bookings ARR to Billings ARR.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team stakeholders and contributors from Business Systems, Sales Operations, Billing Operations, Data Engineering and FP&A to ensure timely and accurate completion of ARR reconciliation tasks.
  • Hands-on investigation of ARR variances between bookings and billings for complex cases.
  • Collaborate on communication to Sales with the Sales Ops team to explain adjustments in Salesforce to prevent surprises.
  • Identify root causes of differences, develop process changes and systemic solutions with the Business Systems and Sales Ops team.
  • Maintain and enhance reporting tools (Tableau) used for ARR exceptions reporting.
  • Continuously iterate and improve the reconciliation process with emphasis on automation.
  • Review revenue contracts, document accounting impact and propose adjustments to ensure compliance with ASC 606.
  • Participate in ongoing company initiatives around Partner Commissions to streamline existing processes through automation.
