The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Senior Revenue Accounting Analyst to join Revenue Accounting and Operations. In this role, you will work with key collaborators across the company, including the Chief Accounting Officer Organization, FP&A, BU Product Marketing, Sales Operations, and Technology Services, to ensure accurate and consistent financial accounting and reporting data. Requirements

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience required (Software industry and/or CPA firm experience preferred)
  • Good knowledge of technical application of ASC606 and all other current authoritative literature related to revenue recognition is required
  • Competence to collaborate, influence and build effective partnerships at various levels and across different roles both inside and outside of our organization
  • Self-motivated with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills; able to address complex technical issues and communicate thoughtful solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.); experience with ERP accounting software, preferably SAP
  • Demonstrable record of delivery and ability to assess and prioritize competing demands

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with our GTM teams, technology, product and finance partners to understand new products, features and advise on revenue accounting system impacts
  • Use your expertise with ASC606 (Accounting Standards Codification) and system knowledge to create and implement solutions with our technology team, ensuring they align with recognition and control principles and drive continual operational improvement
  • Provide process, system, and reporting solutions for evolving business challenges in the quote to cash arena, while ensuring accounting systems and processes are continually streamlined through process improvement to achieve greater efficiencies and accuracy
  • Lead governance, standardization, and automation to scale the business and deliver significant impact to Adobe's operations
  • Assess quarterly financial results and actively add to the accounting and finance close procedures
  • Build and maintain strong expertise in system knowledge and serve as a key resource for the Revenue Accounting and Operations team
  • Host business change-management across our organization and share key updates
  • Design and deliver relevant testing (User Acceptance Testing)
  • Address new requests: understand the case and provide brilliant solutions backed by data and show-cased in a compelling manner
