CMT is looking for a collaborative, customer-committed, and creative Senior Revenue Accountant who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in accounting or a related field
  • 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience with revenue accounting
  • NetSuite experience preferred
  • Be curious and continually seek to improve processes
  • Highly detail-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our internal customers to ensure that all revenue-impacting activities of the company are identified, evaluated for revenue recognition, and recorded appropriately and efficiently
  • Provide guidance and training to more junior team members
  • Maintaining the billing system including new customer and contract setup
  • Ensure monthly invoices are generated according to company practices
  • Follow up with customers to ensure timely payment
  • Complete month-end close processes accurately and timely
  • Posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions
  • Use independent judgment and discretion to manage day-to-day accounting activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist in month-end close process, including posting journal entries and completing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Complete any additional tasks as they arise
