About The Position

Most sales roles focus on the hunt. We focus on the save. As a Senior Retention Closer, you are our elite firefighter. When a high-ticket customer is at the brink of canceling, you are the one we call to step in, diagnose the friction, and re-close the deal. This is not a customer service role; this is a high-stakes negotiation role for someone who understands the psychology of high-ticket buyers and knows how to protect revenue.

Requirements

  • You have at least 3–5 years of high-ticket sales experience. You are comfortable discussing five- and six-figure contracts.
  • You view "I want to cancel" as an objection to be overcome, not an order to be processed.
  • You don't just follow a script; you analyze data and customer behavior to find the winning angle.
  • You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a thick skin for handling tough conversations.
  • You are ready to work in our high-energy office environment, collaborating with internal teams to improve our overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Masterfully navigate cancellation requests by conducting deep-dive discovery calls to identify pain points and pivot back to the value proposition.
  • Design and execute custom retention strategies tailored to high-value contracts to minimize churn.
  • Handle escalated complaints with a calm, persuasive, and professional demeanor.
  • Manage your pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring every at-risk account is tracked, followed up with, and documented with surgical precision.
  • Secure 5-star reviews on Google and BBB from saved customers, turning a negative experience into a marketing win.
  • Educate customers on warranties, financial incentives, and service tiers to reinforce trust and stickiness.

Benefits

  • Heavy Hitter Pay: A $60K base provides the floor, but our uncapped commission is designed for people who want to clear at least $120K+.
  • The Final Word: You are the authority. You have the power to resolve cases, issue reimbursements, and make executive-level decisions to save the business.
  • Impact: You are directly responsible for the company’s bottom line and will have a seat at the table when discussing retention policy.
