About The Position

At Paws Up Montana, dining is thoughtful, immersive, and deeply connected to place. The Senior Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all front-of-house restaurant operations across the Village Outlets (Pomp, Trough, and Tank). This role serves as the primary steward of the guest experience, ensuring that every interaction reflects seamless service flow, elevated hospitality, and consistently exceptional standards. This role serves as the principal steward of the guest experience within the restaurants, setting the standard for service flow, professionalism, and intuitive hospitality. Working in close partnership with Executive Chefs and culinary leadership, the Senior Restaurant Manager ensures that service execution complements culinary excellence, creating seamless, memorable dining moments that exceed guest expectations and align with luxury service benchmarks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six years of progressive experience in food and beverage leadership operations, culinary leadership, event management, or a related hospitality discipline.
  • Advanced knowledge of hospitality and restaurant management principles, including people leadership, resolution of complex operational challenges, and comprehensive food and beverage oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate operational activities and data, analyze trends, and develop sound conclusions and actionable recommendations.
  • Proven judgment in making informed decisions within established policies and procedures, supported by strong supervisory and management-level communication skills.

  • Prior management experience in upscale, independent restaurant environments strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Seamless service flow across all dining periods and outlets
  • High standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation
  • Maintain a visible and engaged presence on the floor, actively managing pacing, table turns, ticket times, and guest satisfaction
  • Strong employee engagement, retention, and internal development
  • Effective labor and cost management without compromising service quality
  • Lead the execution of refined, guest-centric service standards that prioritize warmth, anticipation of needs, and effortless service flow from arrival to departure
  • Ensure all dining experiences feel intentional, personalized, and aligned with luxury hospitality expectations.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop Front of House leaders and service professionals, building a strong succession pipeline.
  • Implement structured training programs focused on service standards, service flow, guest engagement, and brand storytelling.
  • Champion service initiatives, ensuring prompt, gracious, and consistent
  • Oversee interactive dining elements such as tableside service, signature presentations, and specialty offerings to elevate the guest experience.
  • Create, manage, and adjust schedules to ensure optimal coverage while maintaining labor efficiency
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs of all Front of House areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness.
  • Partner closely with Executive Chefs and the Food & Beverage leadership team to align service execution with culinary vision.
  • Collaborate on new concepts, programming, and guest experience enhancements.
  • Demonstrate polished professionalism and genuine hospitality in all guest and team interactions.
  • Represent Paws Up Montana with integrity, discretion, and pride.
  • Maintain a refined, professional appearance that aligns with brand standards.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and high-performing work environment.
