About The Position
Hudbay Minerals Inc. is seeking a Senior Resource Geologist at our Copper Mountain Mine in Princeton, BC. This position is a 5X2, Monday to Friday schedule with a compress work schedule option. The Senior Resource Geologist is responsible for resource estimation and long-term geological modelling, monitoring and reporting of reconciliation challenges between the resource model and short-term models as well as database management. Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, the role involves continuous monitoring and reporting of reconciliation challenges, assisting with resource utilization, and recommending drilling requirements to improve confidence in mine plans.
