To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What you'll be doing You’ll be joining CIBC’s Operational Resilience team and will have dual responsibilities in driving the TI&I department's resolution planning activities and executing and enhancing on reporting and analytics priorities for the Operational Resilience team. Operational resilience is an organization’s ability to detect, prevent, respond to, recover and learn from operational disruptions that may impact delivery of important business and economic functions or underlying business services. You’ll lead complex projects to meet regulatory requirements for resolution planning and drive efficiencies in our resolution planning efforts. You will execute on existing reporting and analytics deliverables and work with key stakeholders to take our function to the next level with innovative metrics and analytics. How you'll succeed Resolution Planning: Lead and coordinate resolution planning activities for US TI&I, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with enterprise-wide strategies. Develop, maintain, and update resolution plans, playbooks, and related documentation across US legal entities. Partner with cross-functional and Enterprise teams to identify gaps, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies related to resolution planning. Serve as a subject matter expert on US regulatory expectations and best practices in resolution planning. Liaise with regulators and internal stakeholders to communicate planning progress, findings, and remediation actions. Reporting and Analytics: Design and deliver regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and analytics for the Operational Resilience team Analyze key risk indicators, operational incidents, and resilience metrics to provide actionable insights. Collaborate with business units to gather data, validate information, and ensure reporting accuracy and timeliness. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and governance committees. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance resolution and resilience processes, tools, and methodologies. You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, Data and/or a related field, and you’ve spent at least 3 years in a resolution planning or reporting/analytics role leading projects and designing solutions. This role has an expected salary range of $135,000- $155,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component. Requirements

  • You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, Data and/or a related field, and you’ve spent at least 3 years in a resolution planning or reporting/analytics role leading projects and designing solutions.

Responsibilities
