About The Position

The Full-Time Senior Residential Counselor oversees the daily functions of the group home, ensuring that consumers are provided with a safe, clean, and adequate living environment. This role involves providing continuous supervision to assigned direct care staff and completing staff performance evaluations. The Senior Residential Counselor ensures the implementation of service plan goals and interventions while providing case management services. Additionally, they manage the monthly program schedule to meet all coverage needs for the assigned group home and participate in the development of all consumer-related activities.

Requirements

• BSW in social work, BS/BA in psychology, or a related field
• BA in unrelated field with two years of previous experience
• AA with two years of experience in mental health/human services
• One-year experience working in a residential mental health setting required
• Relevant supervisory experience preferred
• Valid New Jersey driver's license

Responsibilities
