About The Position
The Senior Resident Assistant (SRA) is a valued member of the College Life team and within the department of Residential Education and Housing who lives in the college residential community. The SRA is trained to provide support for the Resident Assistant team and our residents throughout the academic year. The SRA is responsible for developing and maintaining an atmosphere that promotes UNCSA's residential communities through excellence in arts/academic integration and personal development opportunities for Resident Assistants (RAs) and students. The SRA provides guidance and mentorship to the Resident Assistant team and supports RAs in their efforts to engage artist scholars in various aspects of their residential experience including, but not limited to, self-discovery, community development, intellectual engagement, health and wellness, and citizenship. The SRA assists the RAs with carrying out their duties and responsibilities, building community among the team, and building a sense of community for our residential population. The SRA serves as a liaison between Residential Education and Housing and other campus departments, advocating for the needs of residential students and the Resident Assistant program.
