About The Position

The Klechevsky Laboratory is seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to assist with innovative research in immunology. Our group utilizes novel in-vitro, ex-vivo, and in-vivo approaches to understand the molecular pathways underlying dendritic cell subset biology in health and disease. This position independently performs complex research studies, experiments, and assays using molecular and cellular biology and cells isolated from tissue, blood, or differentiated in vitro.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
  • Laboratory Setting (1 Year) experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Performs complex analysis/projects according to research protocols, explaining methods and procedures to other technicians.
  • Coordinates patient specimen collection and delivery to lab and maintains patient data and compliance documents.
  • May perform preliminary statistical analysis of data.
  • Assures compliance with established safety procedures and maintains required documentation on laboratory and specimen conditions.
  • Ensures lab conditions and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained in accordance with established procedures.
  • Coordinates general lab maintenance and cleaning.
  • Assists in the training and development of technicians, acting as a group leader.
