About The Position

This position will require basic knowledge for breeding and genotyping transgenic mice and have basic skills in surgery for small animals such as Mice. This position will utilize western blotting and qPCR methods along with performing neurobehavioral testing such as water maze, Y maze, and novel object recognition in mice. Additionally the position will perform irradiation, bone marrow isolation, bone marrow transplantation, blood collection, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, inject cells or drugs intravenously and isolate and culture primary cells.

Requirements

• A bachelors degree in Biology or a related field

• At least one year of relevant lab experience
