Providing assistance conducting human factors transportation research. Duties include: (i) following research protocols directed at data collection, data download, data reduction, and data analysis using specialized human factors techniques and methods, (ii) recruiting, screening, and working with human subjects, (iii) preparing the Smart Road or other setting(s) for experiments, and (iv) performing other duties in support of conducting research projects. This is a fast-paced research environment so excellent candidates must work with little supervision and have good communication, organization, and documentation skills. You will be working on the latest vehicle technologies and other areas of transportation policy and technology to improve convenience and safety for drivers around the world. Must have a driver's license check and a criminal conviction check. Must be willing to work some nights and weekends. Must be willing to travel sporadically.
