The Senior Research Program Logistics Coordinator will conduct project business planning, scheduling, and execution, maintain and monitor project spending and billing profiles, and manage equipment shipping, receiving, and inventory. This role involves interfacing with government and laboratory business personnel to support the development of unique underwater sensors and networked common computing systems.

  • Conduct project business planning, scheduling, and execution for the development, testing, integration, and delivery of unique underwater sensors and networked common computing systems.
  • Coordinate activities in support of project business planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Maintain and track project spending and billing profiles using spreadsheets and databases.
  • Track purchases and delivery progress of equipment and parts for system development.
  • Manage equipment shipping, receiving, and inventory.
  • Perform liaison tasks with sponsoring business organizations and prepare formal progress and status briefs.
  • Establish working relationships with vendors, program business sponsors, and laboratory personnel.
  • Assist Supervisor and Engineers as required and travel as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree and five years of demonstrated knowledge in project business planning, scheduling, and execution of technology-based systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and execute business functions in support of complex systems.
  • Ability to maintain spreadsheets and databases, perform data entry, and analyze data.
  • Knowledge of maintaining and tracking purchases, shipping, receiving, and inventory.
  • Skills in working with new technologies, being highly organized, planning and coordinating multiple tasks, effective time management, attention to detail, problem-solving, and effective communication.
  • US Citizenship and eligibility for access to classified information.
  • Ten or more years of experience in technology-based business project coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and coordinate activities with sponsoring and local activities.
