About The Position

Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and data company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the advertising industry and we’re looking for a Senior Research & Insights Associate to join our Research team. If you are excited by technology that has the power to handle hundreds of thousands of transactions per second; collect tens of billions of events each day; and evaluate thousands of data-points in real-time all while responding in just a few milliseconds, then IAS is the place for you! As a Senior Research & Insights Associate, you will play a key role in providing research expertise and data-backed perspectives throughout the company. In this position, you will leverage your research and data analytics skills to translate business questions from internal stakeholders and external customers into research projects, deliver actionable insights and both bespoke and thought leadership materials that support ongoing data needs across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Recent college graduate to 1 year experience with research and data analysis experience
  • An understanding of research methods and best practices with the ability to provide effective solutions
  • Knowledge of online survey tools such as Momentive (fka, SurveyMonkey) and Qualtrics
  • Experience working with primary research vendors (e.g., Forrester, GfK, Ipsos, YouGov, eMarketer)
  • Experience working with brand study vendors such as Upwave, Dynata, etc.
  • Excellent storyteller with the ability to transform quantitative data into engaging stories with actionable insights
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a dispersed team environment
  • Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides strongly preferred
  • Some experience with data analytics desirable

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of SQL, Looker, Snowflake, Databricks, R, Python, Hue, Power BI or Tableau a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support research through our Insights as a Service initiative that aligns with advertiser and agency customer requests
  • Support the planning, design, execution, analysis, and reporting of primary and secondary research initiatives worldwide, delivering actionable insights that position our company as leader in the industry
  • Apply a variety of research methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, online surveys, neuroscience research, desk research and more
  • Gather and manipulate proprietary platform data using best-in-class tools and methodologies
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and third-party research vendors to ensure company-wide research needs are met
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineering and other business partners to explore new sources of data, improve operational efficiency, and increase scalability of insights
  • Manage research projects end-to-end, including survey design, analysis of results, report development and presentation of findings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to produce high quality deliverables, assist in the development of communication strategies and support the creation of marketing campaigns that will promote key research findings
  • Employ online research tools, including Momentive (fka, SurveyMonkey), eMarketer and more
