About The Position

As a Senior Research Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by leading the design and implementation of new or modified process components or equipment, identifying or developing new polymer processing technologies for a variety of products including nonwoven materials, collaborating across 3M to ensure a successful scale-up from laboratory to manufacturing, and communicating and documenting research results to team members, business partners, and technology stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of industrial experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of experience with CAD software and equipment component/system design in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Experience with polymer processing equipment.
• Creative and collaborative mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
