About The Position
Quotient Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate or Associate Scientist to join our team in Cambridge, MA. This position is pivotal in executing target validation experiments using in vitro model systems, aimed at validating targets identified through our innovative genomics platform. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior team members, assisting in the design and implementation of research protocols that are critical to our mission of developing novel therapeutics for diseases with significant unmet needs. In this role, you will perform a variety of laboratory experiments utilizing advanced techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, Western blotting, and primary cell isolation and culture. You will conduct both in vitro and ex vivo assays, including overexpression, knockdown, and knockout experiments on primary cells, as well as stimulation and functional assays to profile cytokine responses. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be to collect, analyze, and interpret scientific data accurately, maintaining precise experimental records and documentation throughout the process. Additionally, you will contribute to the preparation of research articles, reports, and presentations, ensuring that findings are communicated effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. Adhering to lab safety procedures and rules is essential to ensure a safe working environment. You will also participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and future plans, fostering a collaborative and innovative research atmosphere.
