About The Position
Obsidian Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate to join our Analytical Development Contractor team, focusing on Core Testing and Characterization. This role is pivotal in characterizing engineered cell therapy products, particularly tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL), and supporting various analytical teams involved in viral vector and critical materials. The successful candidate will engage in primary human cell culture, molecular analytics, and cell-based assays, contributing to the advancement of our lead program, OBX-115, which is currently in clinical trials for advanced or metastatic melanoma. As part of the Technical Development, Manufacturing, and Quality group based in Bedford, MA, you will collaborate closely with team leaders to execute test methods, troubleshoot assays, and analyze data. Your responsibilities will include characterizing cell-based products and raw materials, developing technical and analytical skills, and maintaining accurate records in an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN).
