The Sr Research Administrator is responsible for independently supporting investigators through the entire proposal submission process; administration of a large, high dollar and varied portfolio of sponsored awards that may include multiple faculty and locations. Management of competing priorities while providing excellence in customer service to internal and external customers; ensuring activity records are accurate, appropriately organized and recorded in a timely manner; independently negotiating sponsored agreements and contracts; serving as a training resource for faculty and staff at all levels; identification and dissemination of potential funding sources for faculty constituency; development of documentation of protocols, templates, and additional resources; read; interpret; disseminate and or apply federal and other sponsor guidelines and regulatory documents. Overview: The Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM) is a growing department looking for professionals who are eager to help implement the St. Jude Global (SJG) mission of training the clinical workforce, developing and strengthening health systems and patient-centered initiatives, and advancing knowledge to sustain continuous improvement through research. Summary: Responsible for leading Contract development, review, renewal, execution, termination, and archiving for the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM) and St. Jude Global. Develops and reviews contracts to identify and interpret appropriate data for system entry, maintenance, retrieval and archiving. Provides ongoing assistance and support to GPM staff on a wide variety of healthcare, risk management, and general corporate and litigation issues by assisting with legal research, writing, contract review, document production, and other tasks as assigned. Works collaboratively and collectively with GPM finance, legal, and institutional personnel to ensure alignment amongst multiple contracts. Responsible for researching, documenting, and disseminating information as needed. Serves as a liaison with other members of GPM Operations and SJG and its collaborators, to ensure coordination and success of departmental, regional, and/or global initiatives and departmental requirements.
