About The Position

We are looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst with data visualization expertise to design and deliver impactful fraud insights across multiple financial products. In this role, you will create intuitive dashboards and analytics that empower teams to prevent, detect, and respond to fraud effectively. You will collaborate with data science, engineering, and business partners to transform complex data into clear, actionable visualizations. This position plays a critical role in enabling productivity and building scalable solutions that support cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Experience with Oracle Reporting Tools (OTBI/OBIEE) or similar reporting tools and Microsoft Access and Excel
  • 5 years minimum related work experience
  • Understanding of database management concepts
  • Understanding of database structures, data collection systems, and data analysis concepts

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI development, or similar roles in fraud, risk, or payments
  • Proven ability to transition teams from spreadsheet-based workflows to BI or SQL solutions
  • Expertise in creating impactful dashboards using tools like Looker, Power BI, or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in large, complex datasets
  • Knowledge of secure data practices for self-service analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects from concept to delivery
  • Skilled in balancing fraud prevention with customer experience and other business goals
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Advanced SQL proficiency
  • Python programming experience
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM-assisted query generation (e.g., GPT-driven SQL, AI copilots for BI tools)

Responsibilities

  • Translate data signals and model outputs into insightful, user-friendly visualizations
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor fraud decision performance and inform decisions
  • Implement automated monitoring and alerting for emerging fraud patterns
  • Build secure, efficient workflows and datasets for self-service analytics
  • Reduce reliance on spreadsheets by designing SQL-based solutions
  • Prototype and integrate AI-assisted tools for data exploration and reporting, ensuring governance and trust
  • Provide documentation, training, and support to drive adoption of new tools
