This position is responsible for leading a team of Regional Asset Managers managing repossessed vehicle inventory and associated auction vendor relationships and is the primary point of contact for vehicle assessment and reconditioning, sale preparation, vehicle valuation, and sale decisions. Additionally, the Senior Asset Manager will have a region of their own, and performance will be based on both individual and team. The primary objective of this position is to maximize net recovery through the management of auction vendors and vehicle inventory, facilitating the timely, effective, and compliant preparation and sale of repossessed inventory, while avoiding unnecessary expense or delay, and ensuring adherence to company requirements by service providers. This position works closely with senior leadership, auction management and staff, as well as various functions within the Asset Management Department and other internal departments as both service provider and service recipient. The successful candidate must be self-directed in work prioritization, be able to work seamlessly between various databases and demonstrate sound decision-making across a broad scope of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. They will need to review reporting and analysis on a regular basis to share performance, deliver insights, and drive business strategy. This candidate must understand how their performance impacts other functions and the company, overall. All duties must be performed in accordance with Westlake policies and procedures, as well as any applicable state and federal regulations.
