About The Position

Caring Transitions of Essex is hiring a dependable and compassionate Senior Relocation Team Member to assist with downsizing, senior relocation, estate sales, and home cleanouts throughout East Baltimore County & Harford County. This is meaningful, hands-on work helping families during important life transitions. Every project is different, and our team plays a key role in creating organized, respectful, and smooth experiences for our clients.
In this role, you will work closely with a small team to prepare homes for relocation, online or estate sale. You will support packing, organizing, photographing, and preparing items for resale, donation, or disposal while maintaining safe and efficient workspaces.

Requirements

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Compassionate, respectful, and dependable
• Comfortable working in cluttered or dusty environments (protective gear provided)
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Reliable transportation (local travel required)
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Organize, sort, pack, and unpack household belongings
• Assist with senior relocations and resettling clients in new homes or senior living communities
• Photograph, describe, and prepare items for online estate auctions
• Research and organize items for resale
• Assist with buyer pickups and on-site estate sales
• Sort items for donation, recycling, and disposal
• Follow company safety guidelines and handling procedures
