About The Position

Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies. Applicant will be expected to provide technical expertise in the area of Missile Defense (MD) analysis conducting regression test engineering on the C2BMC system. The applicant will plan and execute performance analyses on C2BMC and its interactions with current and planned-future MD Elements, document analysis results in reports and briefings, present analysis results to a variety of audiences, develop requirements for complex system models/simulations; develop, test, and evaluate threat scenarios; provide data to support decisions regarding system/element representations and modeling parameters used in large scale simulations; interact with members of other C2BMC Product Teams, C2BMC leadership, MDA customers, and technical SMEs as well as leadership of other MD Element programs. As leaders of the C2BMC team, Lockheed Martin partners with industry leaders to develop and field the backbone of America’s missile defense. Requirements

A Final secret clearance is required.
Knowledge of Linux, and/or Windows.
Posses basic troubleshooting skills and an ability to understand the hardware and software components running in a widely distributed, virtual environment.
Ability to conduct complex troubleshooting by analyzing application and system logs, network configurations, and interface documents.
DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification (e.g. Sec+) is required.
C2BMC specific program experience is required.

Nice To Haves

A Self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with the Government customer as well as personnel internal and external to the program.
Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks.
Experience with Agile Methodologies; creation and management of capabilities, features, and PRs.
