About The Position

The job purpose is to lead and coordinate the Quality activities with contract manufacturers, representing our company and developing solutions for quality products and stable/repeatable processes. This role involves interfacing with contract manufacturers and internal cross-functional teams, managing the prioritization of tasks and activities, driving preventive actions, ensuring disciplinary quality methods are utilized, and executing problem solving with the highest level of detail to ensure proper identification of root cause and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Science - Electrical or Electronics engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant quality experience.

  • Experience with Contract manufacturers setting.
  • APQP.

  • PCBA knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Be the key point of contact with contract manufacturer(s).
  • Drive the Quality activities and coordinate the communication with project teams.
  • Identify, communicate, plan and execute Quality improvements with contractor manufacturer(s).
  • Be the leader for Problem solving and prioritization.
  • Manage open items from CM and EnerSys to closure.
  • Perform product and process audits.
  • Manage team communication - two ways: contract manufacturer(s) and our company.
  • Be the voice of the customer.
  • Multi-task, oversee multiple projects - NPI, current production and continuous improvements activities.
  • Coordinate and review PPAP dossiers in preparation for series production.
  • Prepare weekly Quality Status Report.
  • Moderate and/or support Design and Process FMEAs.
  • Drive for application of lessons learned into different products and processes.
