The Pure Storage Regional Solutions Architect (RSA) is a senior level technical role who will work with Pure’s Global Systems Integrator (GSI) clients/partners. Their work focuses on the primary System Integrator(s) and end clients and collaborates with Pure’s end user sales and pre-sales account teams. The RSA works with Pure’s GSI sales function and has an expert level understanding of IT industry trends, a background working in the GSI space, broad and deep IT experience across multiple industries and a high degree of business acumen. Pure’s GSI business is a prime growth area and the RSA function is key to engaging clients in conversations about their technology needs, helping them in their transformation business and achieving business outcomes more quickly. SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE... Drive strategic deals within existing GSI accounts and Pure white space accounts Define the end to end solution (including the industry and business approach, implementation methods, technology usage, business and IT processes) and influence the commercial and financial models Establish technical credibility with existing and prospective partners/clients; providing the ability to cultivate relationships and envision creative sales and solution strategies that generate additional revenue Work cross functionally with the Global Solution Architect, Pure’s line-of-business and product teams to drive relevant product features, integrations, and solutions. Establish technical credibility and cultivate/maintain relationships with existing and prospective partners/clients Devise sales / solution strategies generating additional and new revenue streams Stay current on technology trends, including the best of breed technology and industry trends relevant to the partner’s and customer's vertical market. Important to be familiar with the leaders and disruptors in their peer group Understand the business and benefits delivered by the proposed solution. To improve delivery and adoption, provide input to key change program components. Identify and share items that are not aligned with the evolving solution Guide the sales team in proposing and delivering the best solution in an evolving hyper-competitive environment Become a trusted advisor and collaborative part of the sales, engineering, and product management ecosystem. Identify key trends and map customer challenges/needs to Pure Storage’s technology strategy Inspire excitement (internally and externally) around the company's long-term vision. Mentor and provide guidance to other SA’s Build and maintain partner capabilities through the delivery of enablement sessions Assist in marketing activities (e.g, roadshows / local events and webinars) Actively create social media content (e.g. blogs, posts, etc)
