About The Position

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for managing strategic and full‑cycle recruiting for mid‑ to senior‑level, leadership, and other roles. This position partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership, enhances candidate quality initiatives, supports workforce planning efforts, and ensures an exceptional and compliant hiring experience. With strong industry knowledge and advanced communication and recruiting skills, this role contributes to strengthening ProPetro’s long‑term talent pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of recruiting experience, including at least four years within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven success in full-cycle recruiting
  • Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with stakeholders and candidates.
  • Ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and assess candidates for positions at all levels, with a particular focus on mid to senior-level and specialized roles.
  • Partner with department leaders to forecast hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Serve as primary liaison between HR leadership and hiring managers.
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers and assist in creating accurate job descriptions.
  • Responsible for assisting with New Hire Orientation
  • Lead special projects related to talent acquisition and workforce planning.
  • Drive initiatives to improve candidate experience and streamline hiring processes.
  • Provide regular updates on recruiting metrics and progress toward goals.
  • Drives candidate quality initiatives that enhance the ability to hire top talent and build long‑term bench strength at ProPetro
  • Demonstrates advanced communication skills to influence stakeholders and resolve complex hiring challenges effectively.
  • Utilizes Applicant Tracking Systems at an advanced level
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and employment laws
  • Support recruiting efforts in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and works well on a team
  • Serves as primary liaison between HR leadership and hiring managers
  • Other duties as assigned.
