About The Position

GovWell is hiring a Senior Recruiter to help us scale our team across business and technical functions. This role will own hiring for our go-to-market and business teams end-to-end, while also supporting technical hiring as needed. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers across the company to run high-quality, efficient hiring processes from intake through close. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, screening, and guiding candidates through the funnel, while ensuring a strong candidate experience and consistent evaluation standards. You’ll also play a key role in shaping how we hire as we scale, helping build repeatable processes, improve signal in our interviews, and ensure we consistently raise the bar. This role is ideal for someone with an in-house or embedded agency background who is comfortable operating with ownership, moving quickly across roles, and stepping into technical hiring when needed. We have a hybrid work culture that combines regular in-person collaboration at our New York City office (3+ days per week) with flexibility to work remotely.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in-house or in an embedded agency model
  • Strong full-cycle recruiter with experience owning searches from kickoff through close
  • Proven ability to hire for business roles such as business development, sales / GTM, marketing, customer success, operations, etc.
  • Comfortable stepping into technical roles, able to learn requirements quickly and run effective processes with hiring managers
  • Strong sourcer with experience building outbound pipelines and engaging passive candidates, experience with agents is a plus
  • Clear communicator who can set expectations, push for alignment, and keep processes moving without friction
  • Highly organized and execution-focused, able to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for business and go-to-market roles, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and closing candidates
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and run structured, high-signal interview processes
  • Build and manage top-of-funnel pipelines through outbound sourcing, referrals, and creative channel development
  • Support technical hiring as needed, quickly ramping on role requirements and partnering with engineering and product leaders to drive searches forward
  • Improve recruiting processes and systems, including interview design, scorecards, candidate experience, and funnel tracking
