We already built the world's first independently developed supersonic jet—with a shockingly small team of just 50 engineers, technicians and pilots. As a Recruiter, you’ll be part of the small, high-impact team fueling that vision. This will be one of the most difficult recruiting jobs on the planet. While many want to join Boom, our bar for talent and cultural fit is exceptionally high. You're not filling seats—you’re building the Special Forces of aviation engineering.

Requirements

  • Full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-moving, high-bar environments
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on challenging technical hires in engineering environments
  • Skilled at building strong partnerships with hiring managers and consistently securing top-tier talent
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, rapid growth, and shifting priorities
  • Exceptional communicator—clear, empathetic, and direct
  • Fluent with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Obsessed with the details and passionate about crafting an extraordinary candidate experience

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive end-to-end hiring for complex, high-impact roles across engineering, manufacturing, and business functions
  • Partner directly with hiring managers and People Business Partners to define needs, build strategies, and close exceptional candidates
  • Act as the talent lead and advisor in kickoffs, interview loops, debriefs, and offer negotiations
  • Proactively source and engage top-tier, often passive talent through a wide range of modern recruiting tools and creative outreach
  • Deliver crisp, clear, and timely communication to both candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the process
  • Leverage data and market insights to influence hiring decisions and continuously improve strategy
  • Ensure an outstanding candidate experience that reflects Boom’s values, ambition, and pace
