About The Position

Central Pacific Bank is located in the state of Hawaii. The work location for this position is in Honolulu, on the island of Oahu. This position would require the selected individual to be able to work on-site during the training period (approximately 3-6 months) and may be eligible for hybrid upon successful completion of training. If granted hybrid scheduling, this position requires the individual to be available to come in office when needed, and at least 2 days in office per week. It may require occasional travel to our other locations across the state, including the neighbor islands. The Senior Recruiter is responsible for the end-to-end recruiting process, including partnering with the HR Business Partner and Hiring Manager to obtain the appropriate requisition approvals, posting requisitions, sourcing candidates, screening candidates, interviewing candidates, and preparing and extending job offers for all Bank positions. The ideal candidate is very detail-oriented, highly responsive, naturally inquisitive, can remain calm and work well under pressure, is able to efficiently and accurately manage multiple requisitions and candidates, has conducted job offer analyses to determine fair and equitable pay, and has a proven track record of developing new candidate pipelines. This position is part of the Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners team. This role career paths into a combination position that retains Recruiter responsibilities for certain business units and begins to include exposure to HR Business Partner work, including Employee Relations. The combination role career paths into an HR Business Partner position, operating at a more strategic level for areas such as Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Employment Law Compliance and so on. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including such work as posting requisitions, screening applications, sourcing for candidates, interviewing candidates and developing candidate pipelines required (a Bachelor's Degree in a related field may substitute for 2 years of required work experience).
  • HR experience handling employee relations issues preferred.
  • Experience as a team leader or supervisor preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Able to work independently while acting as a primary contact for HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers and applicants to perform recruiting and staffing functions (posting position vacancies, sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates, preparing offer letters, etc.).
  • Effectively responds to talent acquisition-related inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Able to effectively present company information to various internal and external audiences.
  • Takes an active role in creating, building and maintaining key working relationships with both internal and external contacts including other industry contacts, colleges, universities and staffing agencies.
  • Attend job fairs, webinars, meetings with vendors/external contacts, conduct research, etc. to develop new candidate pipelines and/or enhance existing candidate pipelines.
  • Performs talent acquisition-related assignments, such as process improvements, conducting training, research, reporting, analysis, recommendation, procedure development and/or administrative tasks to support an effective and efficient recruiting process with a positive candidate experience in mind.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local laws governing employment.
  • Prepares and files various reports for compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies.

  • Salary Range: $54,234.00 To $70,504.00 Annually
