About The Position

The Senior Recruiter (Recruiter III) is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment activities for professional, technical, and leadership roles across the organization. This position partners closely with hiring managers and business leaders to develop recruiting strategies, identify qualified talent, and ensure a high-quality candidate experience. The Senior Recruiter also serves as a subject matter expert on recruiting best practices, workforce market trends, and talent acquisition processes. About Keelson Strategic Keelson Strategic is a growing boutique security company that provides residential security, executive protection, and global travel support services to corporations and high net worth individuals. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting in a specialized industry (e.g., technology, healthcare, government contracting, security, finance).
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interviewing, sourcing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements.
  • Experience mentoring junior recruiting staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills.
  • Understanding of business issues, HR fundamentals, metrics, and customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar).
  • Experience with data analytics and recruiting metrics reporting.
  • Creative recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Working knowledge of California employment laws and Federal employment laws preferred.
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills – must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and have the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for complex, high-volume, and/or specialized roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending an offer.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning needs, job requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for critical and future hiring needs.
  • Provide market intelligence, compensation insights, and hiring recommendations to Senior Leadership and HR Director.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and diversity hiring initiatives.
  • Track recruiting metrics, analyze hiring data, and recommend process improvements to enhance recruiting efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor junior recruiters and coordinators, providing guidance on sourcing strategies, interviewing techniques, and candidate management.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Partner with HR and Senior Leadership on workforce planning and strategic hiring initiatives.
  • Consistent use of computers and phones.
  • Work collaboratively with HR Director to develop and implement effective, comprehensive, multi-layered staffing strategies including ATS, job boards, web searches, networking, industry-specific sources, and traditional recruitment methods.
  • Candidate Assessment: evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and minimum qualifications. May telephone screen qualified applicants for knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or salary requirements.
  • Schedules candidate interviews with HR Director and hiring team.
  • Provide guidance on appropriate and non-appropriate questions, provide sample interview questions, and may arrange for mock interviews to build manager’s interview skills.
  • Job Posting: create and manage job postings on company LinkedIn page, job boards, and other relevant platforms.
  • Candidate Experience: serve as an ambassador of the Company when reaching out to employees. Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing frequent and timely communication, feedback, and guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Educate candidates on the career growth potential, benefits, compensation philosophy and many advantages of joining the Keelson Team.
  • Manager Experience: provide ongoing recruitment progress updates to the hiring team, and ensure they have the tools and resources to interview candidates.
  • Networking: cultivate and manage manager relationships by establishing credibility, and partners with leaders to identify talent gaps, needs, risk and action plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and organizations to expand the candidate pool.
  • Reporting: generate recruitment reports and metrics to assess the effectiveness of the recruiting process and make data-driven improvements.
  • Conduct post-interview feedback sessions with candidates and hiring managers to assess efficiency and understand the hiring experience from the candidate and manager perspective.
  • Add Value: proactively shares innovative solutions to add value, anticipates needs and streamlines the recruiting process for internal stakeholders.
  • Occasional travel in the US to maintain strong referral partnerships and attend job fairs and career fairs for recruitment.
  • Perform all additional related duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Support and/or lead HR projects and company initiatives.
