About The Position

Discord's Recruiting team is looking for a seasoned Senior Recruiter specializing in GTM / Sales to join our recruiting squad! Reporting to the Business Recruiting Manager, you'll be the strategic talent partner responsible for scaling our go-to-market teams, with a primary focus on growing our advertising solutions organization. This role offers the versatility to flex into adjacent business functions as priorities evolve, making you a key player in Discord’s continued growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with proven success in go-to-market roles, specifically in gaming, ad tech or consumer digital media.
  • Demonstrated expertise recruiting across multiple sales segments with deep understanding of competency differences between levels and verticals.
  • Expert-level understanding of digital advertising ecosystem including programmatic, ad networks, publisher vs. demand dynamics, and ability to navigate complex organizational structures (agency vs. in-house, LCS and mid-market).
  • Track record of building talent pipelines from the ground up and implementing process improvements that measurably accelerated hiring velocity.
  • Proven ability to create talent mapping frameworks and sourcing playbooks from scratch, with deep vertical expertise across gaming (mobile, console, PC) and media & entertainment segments.
  • Experience partnering with senior sales stakeholders to assess hiring needs, scope roles accurately, and guide interview processes while maintaining high talent quality standards.
  • Proficiency with recruiting tools including ATS such as Greenhouse and sourcing tools such as Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter and Seekout.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret recruiting data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations based on insights.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for Discord’s Business organization specializing in hiring for teams such as Advertising Solutions (Sales), Developer Operations, Revenue Operations and Customer Success.
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute strategic recruiting plans that align with Discord’s aggressive growth targets and market expansion.
  • Source and evaluate top-tier sales talent including Sales Leadership, Account Executives, Account Managers, Advertising Operations Managers, Sales Operations and Revenue Partnership roles across various segments.
  • Build and manage robust talent pipelines for both immediate hiring needs and future growth, utilizing creative sourcing strategies and competitive intelligence.
  • Design and implement streamlined hiring processes that accelerate time-to-fill while maintaining quality standards and candidate experience.
  • Provide market insights and talent landscape analysis to leadership, advising on competitive positioning and hiring strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams supporting the sales organization, including Sales Operations, HRBPs, compensation and beyond.
