About The Position
Parks & Recreation is searching for a community-minded leader to serve as our Senior Recreation Specialist and onsite supervisor for the Stonebridge Recreation Center. If you are a team player, know how to plan recreational programs for all ages, (especially older adults) organize special community events and work well with numerous community organizations throughout the year, we want you to lead the Stonebridge Recreation Center in providing great programs for a diverse population. Under general supervision of a Principal Recreation Specialist, the Senior Recreation Specialist manages day to day operations, rentals, programs and staffing for Stonebridge Recreation Center. Duties include supervising, training, and evaluating full-time and part-time staff, volunteers, contractual staff and other individuals, as necessary. Develops, plans, supervises, and implements recreation programs and special events. Responsible for marketing, facility management, monitoring and evaluating all recreational programs and special events; securing reservations; preparing monthly reports. Perform other work as required.
