About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized, execution-focused Senior Real Estate Development Project Manager (Contract) to lead the final completion and delivery of the Halidom Development portfolio. This is a 1099, project-based position, expected to last approximately 24 months, focused on driving complex real estate projects from their current phase through full completion, stabilization, and leasing. This role is responsible for coordination, execution, and follow-through, ensuring projects move forward on time, on budget, and with clarity across all stakeholders. This is not a design role and not a facilities role — it is an operations-driven project leadership position for someone who thrives in structure, accountability, and momentum.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in real estate development, construction management, or real estate operations
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of budgets, schedules, contracts, and development workflows
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working directly with executives, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Highly accountable, detail-oriented, and proactive

Responsibilities

  • Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables across all assigned development projects
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, brokers, and internal teams
  • Track progress and proactively identify risks, delays, or scope changes
  • Ensure decisions are documented, communicated, and executed
  • Track project budgets, costs, and change orders
  • Monitor variances and provide clear financial summaries
  • Partner closely with the CFO and accounting team on reporting, forecasting, and approvals
  • Support leadership with accurate, timely information for decision-making
  • Manage leasing workflows, broker coordination, and documentation tracking
  • Support lease negotiations with schedules, financials, and background materials
  • Coordinate due diligence, LOIs, and pre-construction requirements
  • Work directly with the Vice President of Real Estate
  • Collaborate closely with the National Director of Facilities Management to ensure smooth transitions from construction to operations
  • Partner with finance, accounting, and leadership to reduce day-to-day project friction
  • Serve as the central point of accountability for execution across stakeholders
  • Provide concise, accurate project updates to leadership
  • Maintain organized documentation, schedules, and status tracking
  • Escalate issues early with proposed solutions, not just problems
