  • A Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Root Cause Investigation: Lead deep-dive technical investigations into complex powertrain failures using DMAIC and 8D frameworks.
  • Statistical Data Analysis: Perform advanced reliability analysis including Weibull modeling, trend analysis, and failure rate predictions to quantify the magnitude of field issues.
  • Warranty Management: Monitor global warranty databases to identify emerging trends before they reach critical thresholds.
  • Technical Leadership: Chair the Corrective Action Board (CAB) for powertrain issues, Coordinating between Plant Quality, Design Engineering, and Tier 1 Suppliers.
  • Testing & Validation: Oversee Design Review Based on Test Results (DRBTR) and hardware-in-the-loop testing to replicate field failures in a controlled environment.
  • Supplier Engagement: Drive accountability with external suppliers when components fail to meet durability standards, ensuring APQP and PPAP compliance for replacement parts.
