About The Position

InGenesis is currently seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to work with our client. In this role, you will provide advanced technical expertise in delivering safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions and established protocols. The position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care and safety.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a science-related field or graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Minimum 5 years as a staff therapist; Varian equipment experience preferred.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Texas Medical Board license in Medical Radiologic Technology
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, oncology, radiation physics, and safety.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Leadership and mentorship capabilities.

Nice To Haves

• Varian equipment experience preferred.
• CT certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate radiation therapy machines and imaging systems to deliver prescribed treatments accurately.
• Maintain electronic treatment charts and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and other team members to achieve high-quality clinical outcomes.
• Educate and support patients throughout treatment sessions.
• Mentor staff therapists and assist in training student therapists.
• Participate in equipment quality assurance and departmental policy development.
